Although not entirely necessary, the Paleo or Keto diet is recommended when taking our supplements. The Paleo diet is derived from our Paleolithic ancestors. This diet involves eating healthy meat, organic vegetables and nuts. The fish should be wild-caught and the beef should be organic, hormone-free, antibiotic-free, grass-fed. Chicken should be organic, free-range, hormone-free.
The reason why it’s very important to eat “clean” meat is, whatever is put into the animal will also be put in you. So, all the growth hormones that are injected into the animal, to make it as large as possible, will be passed on to you. Remember “you are what you eat”.
This is a healthy fat-rich, low sugar diet, one that is free from processed foods. A great rule of thumb is: if there are more than 5 ingredients on the label, do not buy it.
Followers of a Paleo diet report more energy, better digestion, improved gut health, and more. Healthy food choices can make all the difference in how much energy you have and how well you build and maintain your body. Remember this is your body and you only get one. Take care of it and it will take care of you. Clear your kitchen cupboards of the sugar-laden, prepackaged, artificially colored and flavored foods. Replace all the junk food with whole and natural choices—when the foods aren’t in the cupboard, there is no temptation to eat them. Sorry, but don’t go to McDonalds!
